Claire West

Claire is a senior Liver Transplant Coordinator at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). She is responsible for coordinating both deceased and living donor liver transplants at RPAH and Children’s Hospital Westmead. Claire has worked at RPAH for over 25 years. During this time she has worked in various roles in the transplantation field and completed a Masters of Nursing majoring in education.

Claire is an active member of the Transplant Nurses’ Association and has held the previous posts as National President, State President and State Secretary. She has been an invited speaker both nationally and internationally and held university academic positions. She is prominent in transplant research and is a lead and co-author on numerous publications.
